Former Swindon Town boss Iffy Onuora is back in the Football League after agreeing to become a first team coach at the League One outfit.
Onuora had been reporting for BBC Kent after he was sacked by Swindon Town at the end of the 2005/06 season where Swindon Town were relegated to League Two.
Onuora had 2 spells with Gillingham ands scored 55 goals becoming a hit with the fans in the process.
Speaking to the Swindon Advertiser Iffy said, ‘Pre-season starts on July 5 so I can’t wait to be involved again.I have fond memories of Gillingham and it is a club with ambition.
‘I’m looking forward to working with the players again and trying to take the club forward.’

Nice guy, not too sure about his qualities as a coach though.
I agree he hasn’t really proven his skills, and to be honest i dont think he will. IMO he should concentrate on lower leagues where he will shine, and look like he knows what he is doing
After watching that documentary i never realised how arrogant he was and I reckon Gillingham will struggle this season.
