Bristol Rovers Football Club have been asked to move the 8th of March fixture against Swindon Town.

Cheltenham chairman Paul Baker told the Evening Post: ‘The Football League have accommodated the request not to play the higher-profile games here.

‘We will be asking Rovers to move it or switch the home and away games around.’

The request not to play higher profile games is likely due to the increased potential for trouble and disturbance to residents in the Whaddon Road area.

Should Rovers swap the home and away fixtures around, Town would visit the Memorial Stadium on the 24th November.
