Former Swindon Town midfielder Paul Ince could become the next manager of Leicester City.

Ince played for Swindon Town during the 2006/07 League 2 promotion season under then boss Dennis Wise before taking over Macclesfield Town in what was seen as an impossible task to keep them in the Football League.

The former England Captain did keep Macclesfield in the League before moving to the Franchise last Summer.

Ince worked his magic again and won promotion with the Franchise to League One after the ‘club’ narrowly missed out on promotion the season before.

Sky Sports News is now reporting that Leicester City have approached The Franchise about talking to Ince with the view of making him their new manager after Ian Holloway was sacked following The Foxes relegation to League One.
