Swindon Town have announced that they have signed a 3 year shirt sponsorship deal with Football magazine giants FourFourTwo.

Swindon Town have secured a massive coup in securing the shirt sponsorship with Britain’s biggest selling monthly football magazine.

Swindon Town will now have massive coverage in the monthly magazine as well as have FourFourTwo on the front of their shirts for the next 3 seasons.

Town chief executive Nick Watkins was delighted with the contact signing telling the press, ‘We hope the FourFourTwo brand is such a strong brand it will encourage people to buy the Swindon Town shirt and other bits and pieces. We hope we will be covered so prominently in the magazine it may see people all over the world adopt us as their second team.’

The Three year deal comes with a one year review option to see how the sponsorship is working out from both ends.

Martyn Jones, publishing director of FourFourTwo seemed just as excited and told The Swindon Advertiser, ‘We wanted to secure a tie up with a Football League team to get beneath the surface and show our readers what goes on at a real football club.

‘We were very impressed with the new board at Swindon and will work with them to create an innovative partnership that engages with all football fans.’
