Dennis Wise has admitted that he is looking to bring in another goalkeeper after realising that Youth Keeper Jonathan Stewart is not ready for first team football.

Wise said after Swindon’s loss to Wycombe, ‘We are trying to bring in another keeper in the interim because we only have one keeper here in Phil Smith.

‘We need to get one in. Obviously Jon is only young and, at the present moment, is not good enough to play in goal.’

Swindon Town will likely be without first choice goalkeeper Peter Brezovan for the season after breaking his arm against Grimsby. Wise has said he is looking to sign Brezovan permanently and that the transfer fee is not that much as the club has the first option on him.

It is believed that Trust STFC has advised the club their is money available in the Red Army Fund to help fund a goalkeeper on loan.

The Red Army Fund is a fund set up for fans to donate money for the club to spend on the playing squad ONLY. For more information visit http://www.truststfc.co.uk
