Swindon Town’s poor form continues as Town lose 2-1 to playoff chasing Tranmere at Prenton Park this evening.

Town were behind on the 11th minute thanks to a Steve Jennings Brace.

Just before half time Chris Greenacre would give the home side a 2-0 advantage going into half time.

Town were able to get a goal back thanks to a Billy Paynter strike on the 68th minute.

Town pushed on however Billy Paynter and Simon Cox missed 2 great chances towards the end of the match ensuring that the home side took all 3 points.

The calls for Maurice Malpas’ head must not be far away with Swindon Town fans wanting to know, ‘WHAT IS GOING ON?’
