Swindon Town have confirmed the departure of their management trio to Plymouth Argyle.
The Swindon Advertiser has revealed that the club will likely received a £500,000 compensation payment from Plymouth for Paul Sturrock, Kevin Summerfield and John Blackley.
Argyle will hold a press conference at 1pm this afternoon to confirm Sturrock as their new manager.

does nt really matter we got 300,000 for wise and poyet and what happened to that ?

Thats a bit harsh. The Wills have lost money over the years by backing Swindon, and digging us out of many a hole. Them pocketing the cash would be a partial recompensation. I’m not saying they managed finances well whilst in charge, but they clearly havent made anything from the club
should have got alot more comp than that IMO
I refuse to believe that the Wills’ family have ever made a “loss” from the club – I am sure it has been more than covered by the shareholder dividends.
