Vital Bristol Rovers is reporting that Swindon Town are interested in re-signing Midfielder Sammy Igoe who left the County Ground last season for Millwall.
Igoe who was instrumental for Town during their playoff season saw his performances nose dive during the 2004/2005 season. Despite his poor season he was offered a new contract at Swindon, Igoe decided to test himself at Championship level by signing at Millwall instead after pledging how much he wanted to stay at Swindon.
Igoe failed the test. By season’s end he ended up at Bristol Rovers where he put on some promising performances.
With new manager Dennis Wise taking over at Swindon, We cannot see Sammy Igoe returning to the County Ground.
