Former Swindon Town midfielder Sofiane Zaaboub has been linked with a move to the Scottish Premier League.

Zaaboub’s agent told Sky Sports that Aberdeen, Dundee United, Dundee, Motherwell and Falkirk are all keen to secure the services of the frenchman.

Zaaboub was a key part of Swindon Town’s starting XI under former boss Paul Sturrock.

After Sturrock’s departure, Zaaboub saw his chances limited after several rows with new manager Maurice Malpas and assistant David Byrne.

Zaaboub’s temper got the best of him as he would argue with the management team when taken off or refuse to leave the pitch.

At the end of the season Zaaboub was told he was surplus to requirements at the County Ground and was free to leave.

Sofi is a good player if he could get focused and calm down a bit.
