Former Swindon Town and England midfielder Paul Ince has been linked with the vacant managers job at MK Dons.

Ince played 3 games for Town last season before stating that traveling to Wiltshire became too much and consequently left the club prior to the departure of then boss Dennis Wise.

Ince accepted the Macclesfield Town managers job and was the mastermind behind Macclesfield`s great escape last season to remain in the Football League. Macclesfield were 14 points adrift at the foot of the League 2 table when Ince took over.

MK Dons have been without a manager since Martin Allen took the managers job at Championship side Leicester City last month.

After working a minor miracle at Macc Incey should be looking to join a team in a higher league!

Not sure if Ince is the person to get a team promoted but good luck to him. He could have stayed with us and took loads of money but didnt.
