Brown who as released by Swindon at the end of the season after the club was shocked that Sturrock never offered him a new contract.
Brown re-joins Iffy Onuora who was recently named a coach at Priestfield. Onuora brought Brown to Swindon from QPR during the 2005/06 League One season.
Brown had a love-hate relationship with Swindon fans and with Brown joining Gillingham this will make this fixture all them more interesting.

Do our games need to be made more interesting than they already are?
If we manage to hold on that long, you might even have the joy of sending us down on April 26.
Bit of a Jekyl and Hyde character there…good or might of well stayed on the coach…..Never really saw Iffy lasting as a manager/coach at Swindon he looked like a fish out of water…..
Iffy could well take you down. Gills are spending cash but on rubbish.
