Swindon Town manager Maurice Malpas has given his thoughts after Town’s 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest this afternoon at the City Ground.

Malpas stated that their was nothing between the 2 teams and that goalkeeper Peter Brezovan only had one save to make in the first half which was a free kick.

Malpas knocked his players and stated that the team had a free kick near the end of the match and one of the best headers did not run up to help out.

The Town boss stated that he is disappointed that the team did not take it’s chances when Forest did.

The former Scottish International stated that the good teams manage to score a goal in the last 10 minutes to either win or equalise.

Ed Hadwin from BBC Radio Swindon asked Malpas why Lee Peacock was excluded from the game. Malpas stated that Peacock picked up an injury Thursday and felt he would not be able to make it through the match.

The main point from Malpas was ‘Where is the never say die mentality?’
