Former Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock will return to Swindon for a pre-season friendly prior to the 2008/09 season.
Sturrock will bring his new side Plymouth Argyle to the County Ground for a pre-season friendly.
Town boss Maurice Malpas has already set his sights on next season and has also arranged a friendly with Cardiff City.
Malpas told the club’s official website that Town will also play a couple of friendlies against local sides as well as look at playing a few games in Germany prior to kicking off next season.

I think the headline is an eye catcher – bearing in mind our present problem.
We will be playing against Plymouth but Malpas won’t be there..hopefully!!!
Forgot to add..Mr Sturrock please, please do not think that you can save a dead horse like MM by coming back to the CG
With a bit of luck and a wedge of cash he might take MM with him back to Plymouth.
