Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has gone off at the FA after goalkeeper Casper Ankergren was charged at throwing a missile at Swindon Town supporters.

Ankergren received the normal abuse that goes with being an away goalkeeper but Bates once again thinking the world is against him, thinks that Swindon Town should be charged and NOT Ankergren.

Speaking to Sky Sports Bates said, ‘Why have Swindon not been charged with failing to control their fans?’

‘Casper had to take a barrage all afternoon and nobody lifted a finger to protect him.’

Whilst we do not condone the actions of some Swindon fans who threw missiles at the Leeds keeper, the player on the pitch should not incite the crowd by throwing the items back.

Swindon Town were apparently one of the teams who voted AGAINST Leeds being deducted 15 points at the beginning of the League One season.
