Club physio Dick Mackey has stated that David Lucas‘s injury is not as serious as originally feared, pending the scan.

The medial ligament pain that Lucas experienced while undergoing pre-match training has gone down significantly since the weekend and could even be available to play against Walsall on Saturday.

However, Danny Wilson may decide to stick with Phil Smith who impressed many with his display against Colchester United.
