New Norwich City manager Paul Lambert has hit out at Swindon officials for their estimation of Town winger Anthony McNamee.

Talking to the Pink’un Lambert bemoaned that Swindon had rejected the offer of £200,000. Swindon ‘wanted an absolute fortune, for a lad in his last year’ spouted the angry Scotsman and finished by saying that the price Town wanted was a fee ‘which Real Madrid couldn’t afford’. Quite.

Lambert has been a fan of McNamee’s since his Watford days. The pacy winger has played 69 league games for Swindon scoring 2 goals.

Should we have sold McNamee for £200,000? Is Lambert out of line? Give us your views.
