Former Swindon Town boss Dennis Wise is set to raid his former club and attempt to sign goalkeeper Peter Brezovan.
Brezovan is now back at his best and it is believed that Wise will attempt to sign Brezovan in January to back up Casper Ankergren at Leeds United.
It was Wise who originally brought the Slovakian goalkeeper to the County Ground last season, and it seems inevitable that Wise would try and sign one of the best goalkeepers outside of the Premier League.
Should Town sell Brezovan then they would have to turn to Youth Team goalkeeper Mark Scott as Phil Smith recovers from a hernia operation.
Brezovan is clearly one of Town`s best players and we are hopeful that Swindon Town`s new owner Andrew Fitton will say “no deal” to Leeds who are rumoured to be lining up a £750,000 bid for the keeper.

Lets hope Fitton can see the importance of keeping him rather than just the pound signs.
This is the first real test of their plans – take the money or build for the future?
Of course every player has his price though, especially if we tie it to other future clauses
I’d like to see him stay and we do not cave in to the first offer – especially if that git Bates is involved
cant see them paying £750,000 for a keeper to sit on the bench , cant afford to lose him at the minute although i would say he was the best keeper outside the premiership as he looks dodgy on crosses since his break
I don’t se the point in selling him if we don’t need to. We need to keep all our players at the moment. Brez and Smith (phil) are what we need to make a go of challenging for a championship place this season.
