Iffy Onoura’s short reign as Swindon boss has today come to an end after the board decided Iffy wasn’t the right man to take the club back into League One.
Iffy Onoura took over from Andy King in mid-September but failed to keep the club in League One, despite a good run of form at the beginning of 2006. Iffy took the job in difficult circumstances and there is no doubt that he gave it his best shot.
Speaking to the official club website, Iffy said, ”I am not bitter, but there was an element of doubt once the season had come to an end.’
‘I don’t harbor any grudges and will look back at my time here with a lot of fondness. The fans have been magnificent from day one and I will dust myself down and get on with things.’
Iffy Onoura was an honest and respected man and we all thank him for his efforts and wish him the very best for the future.

shame iffy couldnt stay but no doubt he will be given another chance hopefully with another club to show what he can do with a longer reign, good luck iffy!!!
I think Iffy has been treated pretty poorly by this club. I do not think it has been held very professionally. i hope he bounces back.
Just read his interview on the official site. i think he was too nice to be treated like this, uncalled for. I think we need to a harder manger but would have liked I ffy to have been treated better
