Swindon Town have drawn Forest Green Rovers or Rotherham in the second round of the FA Cup.
The match will take place on either the 1st or 2nd of December at the County Ground.
Swindon Town were ball 39 in the draw which was held live on BBC 1 after the Yeovil Town v Torquay match.
Forest Green and Rotherham drew 2-2 at the New Lawn in Nailsworth earlier on this afternoon.
Town came very close to drawing local rivals Oxford United who were drawn the tie before as the home team.
If Town were drawn one ball earlier Swindon would be playing Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.
Oxford instaed will now get battered by Southend United.
You was lucky it wasn’t Oxford then!!! We all remember the last time you played them at the Kassam in the FA Cup.
We wouldn’t have lost to that tin pot club this time. What division are they in again? Unibond 10th division?
Good draw – good chance of making 3rd round. Unlike Oxford.
If we get past Forest Green in the replay it will be ‘game on’ I feel! Then again, if we don’t you may find the non-league side a little tougher than you think!
Non league sides area always a potential banana skin! Would prefer them as I believe we would have a great chance of getting one of the big guns in round 3.
