Scotland B international Scott Cuthbert has joined Alan Sheehan, David Prutton and Michael Rose through the Swindon exit by joining Leyton Orient.

It was announced last week that the club had opted against activating a renewak clause in Cuthbert’s contract but were rumoured to be willing to renegotiate a deal with the former Celtic youth player.

Cuthbert also expressed a desire to remain beyond this summer (don’t they all) but a two year deal from Russell Slade appears to be too good to refuse.

Danny Wilson signed Cuthbert in 2009 and enjoyed a brilliant first season at the club but the performance levels dropped significantly in 2010/11.

Scott Cuthbert is undoubtfull a good player but lost his way when Gordon Greer left for Brighton.

Vital Swindon wish Cuthbert all the best and hope he does well at Orient.
