Swindon Town’s leading goal scorer Simon Cox told the assembled press that he was pleased to score 2 goals against Oldham to restore some confidence heading into the final games of the season.
Speaking to swindontownfc.co.uk Cox said, ‘I set high standards and I am the first one to hold my hand up after a game if I haven’t performed, but we want to keep those high now.
‘It was great to get two goals and the fans were fantastic too. We can now take confidence into the next few games.
Cox arrived at the County Ground in January after chairman Andrew Fitton opened his wallet to secure the signature of the highly rated striker from Premier League side Reading.
