Sky Sports news will be showing the draw for the 2nd Round of the Carling Cup tonight at 10:30pm.

The 2nd Round will see the entries of the non-European competition Premiership teams alongside Newcastle United, West Bromwich Albion and Middlesbrough who were given byes in the last round.

It’s a seeded format so Swindon will be facing either Premiership or Championship opposition.

Seeded Teams

Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Manchester City, Wigan Athletic, Stoke City, Bolton Wanderers, Portsmouth, Blackburn Rovers, Sunderland, Hull City, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Birmingham City, Burnley, Newcastle United, Middlesbrough, West Bromwich Albion, Reading, Preston North End, Cardiff City, Swansea City, Ipswich Town, Bristol City, Queens Park Rangers, Sheffield Wednesday and Watford.

Unseeded Teams

Doncaster Rovers, Crystal Palace, Blackpool
Coventry City or Hartlepool United, Nottingham Forest or Bradford City, Barnsley, Macclesfield Town or Leicester City, Peterborough United, Scunthorpe United, Norwich City, Southampton, Leeds United, Millwall, Tranmere Rovers, Southend United, Huddersfield Town, Bristol Rovers, Leyton Orient, Swindon Town, Carlisle United, Gillingham, Hereford United, Rotherham United, Accrington Stanley
and Port Vale.
