Less than one week after being named on the stand-by list for the Wales U-21 squad, Town starlet Billy Bodin has been drafted into the full squad.

Wales U-21 boss Brian Flynn acted after several withdrawals from his orginal selection.

The 16 year old midfielder is obviously the son of Town favourite Paul Bodin, and Bodin jr. could even feature in the fixture with Northern Ireland at the Ballymena Showgrounds this week.

Talking to the Swindon Evening Advertiser Paul pointed out that this will be a good experience for the 1st year scholar by stating his son is ‘only 16 so it`s a great opportunity for him to play alongside and against players at a higher level’

Congratulations and good luck Billy.
