Ady Williams Out For The Season?

Swindon Town manager Paul Sturrock told the press after the teams 3-0 thumping at Stockport, Captain Ady Williams could miss the rest of the season.

‘We think he will have an operation in midweek which may well rule him out for the rest of the season,’ Sturrock said.

Williams has been a rock at the centre of Town’s defence and has improved the game of fellow defenders Jack Smith and Jerel Ifil and will be missed.

Williams experience and abscence will come as a major blow to Town’s already faltering promotion push.
