Zaaboub Set To Stay At Swindon

Swindon Town’s French midfielder Sofienne Zaaboub is set to extend his stay with the club.

Manager Paul Sturrock made Zaaboub his first signing for the club offering him a short term contract until January; however it looks as if the Frenchman has done enough to earn a new deal at the County Ground.

Zaaboub has become an instant fan favourite at Swindon with his pace and flare on the wing and Zaaboub has told Sturrock that he would like to remain at the club past January, a view Sturrock shares.

‘I’ve had a word with Sofi and he’s having a word with his agent. I would like to do something.’ Sturrock said.
