Striker Fola Onibuje who is on loan at League One side Brentford could be set to return to Swindon Town.

Onibuje who joined Swindon Town on a short term deal under former manager Dennis Wise had scored 2 goals for the club. After impressing Wise, Onibuje was handed a contract until the end of the season.

When new manager Paul Sturrock came in, Sturrock told Onibuje right away that he was not part of his plans and sent the former athletics star on loan to Brentford where he linked up with manager Leroy Rosenior. Leroy was sacked shortly thereafter and has hardly featured since his departure.

Onibuje`s loan spell ends on the 8th of January and Swindon Town are currently having discussions with the player and his agent to discuss his future.

Brentford currently sit rock bottom of League One.

I would be glad to see him back in the team tbh i like him and there are far worse players that i would get rid over him anyday!!!!

If he does come back I see him as a sub. who you throw on to change the style of attack if the usual style isn’t working. as he tends to run directly at defences..hopefully taking the ball with him.

i rate him and don’t think he warranted being loaned out when there are worse players being put in the team each weeek

Each to his/her own – I felt he kept giving away freekicks – similar to Crouch where their height makes them look awkward and clumsy, and refs see this as obstruction.

like you say each to their own.
