Walsall have signed former Swindon Town midfielder Sofiene Zaaboub who was released at the end of last season.
Zaaboub arrived at Town under former manager Paul Sturrock during the League 2 promotion season after impressing during a trial at the club.
Zaaboub would soon become a Town main stay and become a fans favourite however that changed last season after Sturrock departed the club for Plymouth Argyle.
Zaaboub would soon be dropped from the team following a series of arguments with the new management team Maurice Malpas and David Byrne.
Zaaboub`s attitude ultimately lead to his release at the end of the season after throwing his shirt down and arguing with the management team on the touchline following being substituted during a reserve match late last season.

good signing for Walsall ?
Hopefully for your sakes – but he does blow hot and cold. Good when he’s good a complete pain when not, also gets in a strop now and again. He fell foul here when he couldn’t get his way – so on bike yer pal !
Has the potential to be really good. Was quality in our promotion season from L2.
