Useless McClaren Sacked!

Hopeless Steve McClaren has been sacked as England manager following England’s exit from Euro 2008 according to reports.

England crashed out of Euro 2008 last night at a wet and muddy Wembley thanks to a truly pathetic display from the overpaid, underperforming national side.

McClaren put unproven goalkeeper Scott Carson in goal despite saying he wanted experience in his squad. Carson would make one decent save and be completely useless the rest of the game.

The only player who looked to care all game was the reliable David Beckham who may have played his final game for England.

The FA have called an emergency meeting for 8:30 this morning and will likely hand McClaren his P45.

Martin O’Neill is the currently favourite to replace McClaren whilst England fans will be hoping The FA can bring in former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho to shake things up. Under 21 England boss Stuart Pearce has also been mentioned.

Terry Venables is understood to still be with the England squad however a new manager may bring in his own men.

Well all I can say is I hope them prima donna’s are happy with themselfs. If this is what it takes to give the FA a wake up call then so be it. We need a revamp from top to bottom. Thats what the French did when they didn’t qualify for the 94 World Cup. Within 6 years they won the World Cup and European Championships. Last nights performance was a disgrace by the way.

I’m in the lot who would limit the amount of foreign players in a team/squad also try and move away from this Champions League fixation or monetry gains….. its all down to money nowadays, playing for your country is now second place – how many times has Alex Ferguson try to block his players playing due to league /c. league games coming up … with all the money involved you can see why… Last night first half was awful…second half it was too late by then….
