Swindon Town could get a cash boost if Swansea City sell Striker Rory Fallon to Plymouth Argyle.

The Evening Post is quoting Plymouth Argyle chairman Paul Stapleton saying that his club had made a ‘significant offer’ for the tall striker.

Fallon was Town’s top goal scorer last season but after Fallon rejected a new contract at Swindon he was sold to Swansea City for £300,000 and a sell on clause.

Fallon in the past has said it is his ambition to play Premiership and Plymouth Argyle have been playing well enough to perhaps earn a playoff spot.

Fallon will be best remembered at Swindon for his over head kick against Bristol City during the 2003-04 season.

    Afternoon, Swindon fans.
Is Fallon well thought of? I have seen positive and negative comments about him by the Swansea fans, but you guys at least would give an honest answer.

Should we stay clear of him? Or would he be an asset if we could deliver balls to him in the box?

Good luck for the rest of the season!

Fallonw as great as a sub during our playoff season and is a decent target man. Not sure how he would be in the Championship. Well liked here. He didn’t want to say and was honest so he left and we got some cash. Good Luck to him

After watching him play the other day ,i think he has come on so much since he went to Swansea, my opinion is I that i think swindon should have tried harder to keep him but think he would do well for Plymouth. I was sorry to see him leave.

I liked him once he found his confidence and had a really good spell at Swindon. He took quite a few games at swansea before he started to look the same player. He’s worth a gamble though.
