John Ward is the favourite to take over Swindon Town’s vacant manager job however a Sunday League Team, Oxford United are interested too.

Oxford sacked their manager Darren Patterson on Sunday after the non league minnows were stuck in a near relegation battle.

Personally we thought Patterson was doing a very good job at the financially un-sound sunday league outfit.

Oxford’s fans, well the little amount that still go out to watch that rubbish, have named John Ward as their top man for the post along with Ian Holloway.

Holloway surly wouldn’t sink to those depths whilst Ward is keen to get back into the game at whatever level.
