Swindon Town caretaker boss David Byrne has identified a couple of new players he wants to bring into the club in January.

Town are currently embroiled in a relegation battle although no one will admit that is the case.

Town will score during any game this season however they will also concede and this is something that Byrne is looking to eradicate sooner rather than later.

Byrne has identified two players, a defender and midfielder with Premier League experience to help Town climb the table.

Should a new manager be appointed before the January transfer window, which seems rather likely then Byrne will pass his recommendations onto the incoming boss.
