Swindon Town and Woking have announced that Swindon Town have agreed a contract to sign starlet John Goddard for an undisclosed fee.
Goddard a former Reading product was Woking’s player of the season this year.
The midfielder was attracting the attention of many league clubs and the signing shows a signal of intent by chairman Lee Power who has a history of plucking players from non-league and giving them a change.
Goddard signs a three year contract and scored 17 goals from Midfield this season and has also represented England at England C level.
