Last night we received two e-mails from different media outlets requesting we talk about the alleged board problems at Swindon Town Football Club.
This site would like to remind media outlets that whilst we are more than happy to discuss ‘on the pitch’ activities we have chosen not to discuss the future of Dennis Wise, Willie Carson and any other member of the back office staff at the club.
We feel that by discussing or publishing stories which are based purely on ‘rumours’ and ‘I was told by a friend of a friend’ is not entirely helpful and counter productive to the current situation.
Once the facts do come to light we will be more than happy to discuss these and discuss the way forward. Our stance at Vital Swindon Town is to work with TRUST STFC The Swindon Town Supporters Trust and anything we do will be done with them.
We have a good positive working relationship with Swindon Town F.C and look forward to assisting the club in any way we can.
Anyone who does have any questions about the current situation at Swindon Town are advised to attend the Open Fans meeting at the Old Railway Museum Wednesday night.
