After weeks of looming, Swindon Town are now in the relegation zone after the home draw with MK Dons.

The 7,453 crowd witnessed a Town performance that should have resulted in 3 points to Swindon but (again) it wasn’t to be.

Swindon had the earliest chances when a looping through ball found Cox who passed to Robson-Kanu, a good tackle resulted in a Town corner – the corner resulted in Kevin Amankwaah wasting a golden opportunity

15 minutes in Anthony McNamee squandered a decent chance before Billy Paynter gave Swindon a deserved lead with a 18th minute header.

Robson-Kanu went close before Roberto Di Matteo’s men equalised through Aaron Wilbraham with a tap in.

On 35 minutes Simon Cox hit the bar from only 6 yards out – he couldn’t believe it, the players probably couldn’t believe it and the fans certainly couldn’t believe it!

The second half had Town searching for a winner but it never came. Dean Lewington was sent-off for Dons late in the game but it was too late.
