Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas has revealed he is keen to sign Bristol City midfielder Kevin Betsy.

The midfielder spent time at Walsall and Yeovil last season after Gary Johnson decided that Betsy was not part of his plans for the Championship campaign last season.

Betsy has spent time at Hartlepool, Fulham, Wycombe, Oldham, Bournemouth, Walsall (loan), Woking, Barnsley, Hull City and Yeovil Town with transfer fees totalling over £400,000 throughout his career.

Malpas told Town’s official website that the player was at the County Ground this evening to see Town win 3-0 over Championship outfit Plymouth Argyle who treated the match as if they couldn’t care less by fielding a young side.
