Former Swindon Town striker Super Sammy Parkin is set to leave Ipswich Town one year after signing a 4 year contract to leave Swindon.
Parkin who scored over 75 goals for Swindon has had a rough time since leaving the County Ground last year.
Parkin scored 5 goals before spending most of last season with an ankle injury.
Ipswich fans made life difficult for Parkin and despite being the clubs top scorer at the time of his injury fans were unhappy that all his goals came on the road.
Ipswich have now accepted bids from Luton Town and Preston North End. Parkin explained that he expects his future to be resolved shortly, even perhaps before Saturday.

Good luck to Super Sam P. – he certainly needs it – shame he couldn’t come back here.
not surprised, Royale no longer manager and Parkin not had the best time of his career there.
