Former Swindon Town boss Paul Sturrock is ready to offer Simon Cox a chance to play in the Championship when his loan spell ends at the end of the month at Swindon.
Cox has scored 7 goals since arriving on loan from Premier League side Reading and was brought to the County Ground by former boss Paul Sturrock who left 2 weeks ago to return to Plymouth Argyle.
Sturrock is keen to bring Cox to Argyle to boost his striking options as Plymouth push on for a Championship playoff birth during the second half of the season.
A chance to play at a higher level would probably be too big an opportunity to turn down for Cox.

That said, Cox is a Reading player…
not intent on walking out on us he now wants to take our players with him. So much for him hoping we do well still!!!!
You cant really blame him. Cox is a quality player and is available, we dont hold any sway over him
Didn’t think it would take long for him to start trying to get your better players.
