What a year it has been for Charlie Austin. As it’s been discussed in length it’s crazy to think that the young centre forward spent much of 2009 as a bricklayer.

But now he is one of the hottest properties in the Football League with clubs like Celtic, Q.P.R. and Hull City among the many admirers of the Town favourite.

It’s unlikely that Town will finish 2011 with Austin in the ranks so let us enjoy his Swindon career while we can!
