Southend United made easy work of a mediocre Swindon Town this evening at Roots hall by winning 2-0. The win put’s the shrimpers back a the top of League One ahead of Essex Rivals Colchester United.

Manager Rating
5/10 – Changed to a 4-5-1 formation that has failed on many occations this season. After selling top goal scorer Rory Fallon to Swansea, elected to go with Lee Peacock who didn’t appear to be match fit.

Opponent Rating
10/10 – Flawless performance by Tilson’s men. It was easy to see why they are now top of the League and why Swindon are near the bottom.
