Bristol Rovers director Geoff Dunford has paid tribute to the friendship shown Swindon Town F.C after announcing that Rovers will groundshare with Cheltenham Town.

‘It is important to acknowledge our very positive discussions with Swindon Town, and we would like to thank their board for their kind consideration and offer of assistance,’ Dunford said,

‘We thank them for their hand of friendship, which is rare in today’s competitive world of professional football.’
