Winger Luke Rooney who is on loan at Burton Albion will return to Swindon Town after the weekend and will be available to play against Aston Villa on Tuesday.
Manager Paolo Di Canio has made no secret of his lack of players including a winger so this news will come as a boost to Di Canio.
Matt Ritchie has appeared burnt out so the addition of Rooney will give Di Canio the option to rest his talisman winger.
Town are still unable to dive into the emergency loan market due to a transfer embargo hanging over the club.
