A rare Simon Ferry goal, yes you read that right, Simon Ferry goal, gives Swindon Town all three points in the battle of the STFC’s.

Once again most of the posession went to Swindon as James Collins made his return to Shrewsbury for the first time since leaving in the Summer to join Swindon.

Collins was unlucky not to score from four yards out and was taunted.

The closest the Shrews came to scoring was a Aaron Wildig header which was turned over the post by Wes Foderingham.

Swindon now sit four points off top spot in fourth in the League One table and welcome Colchester United to the County Ground on Tuesday evening.
