Danny Wilson has offered contracts to four players as he prepares for the 2010/11 season.
Craig Easton
The 31 year old Scottish played only a bit part this season due to the fine form of Jonathan Douglas and Simon Ferry. However, his general contribution is regarded as invaluable by the Town boss. Many Town fans will be pleased by this news, some considered him Swindon’s best player during 2007/08 despite Miguel Comminges taking the awards.
Billy Paynter
Town’s top scorer has had an incredible season stepping out of Simon Cox’s shadow with some style. However, it is widely believed that BP will depart the County Ground this summer for a Championship club.
Michael Timlin
The Irish Londoner started the season as Jonathan Douglas’ sidekick in the centre of midfield but was replaced by Simon Ferry when he arrived from on loan Celtic.
Mark Scott
Some would consider this quite a surprise but Danny Wilson wants to keep four professional goalkeeper on the books. Callum Antell’s failure to promote himself of the youths has given Scott another chance to
mpress.
