Histon sit third in the Blue Square Premier table one point off of first place after their 1-0 win at Altrincham on Saturday in a game that they dominated according to media reports. Histon qualified to play Swindon in the first round after seeing off Durham City 5-2 last week. Strikers Jack Midson and Danny Wright both scored in the game and will be looking for a famous goal against Swindon. Midson scored the goal that beat Altrincham on the weekend. Histon Goalkeeper Daniel Naisbitt will have a tough task ahead stopping Swindon’s strikers however In 2007 he kept 3 clean sheets and conceded 27 goals in 19 games for The Stutes.

Oyebanjo was recently named the Blue Square Premier ‘Player of the Month’ for October. The former Brentford defender has been in the heart of Histon’s defence and will have the tough task of silencing Simon Cox and Billy Paynter who will look to add to their goal scoring tally.

Town currently sit 17th in League One and are one a 4 game unbeaten run. Town drew 3-3 at Scunthorpe on Saturday. Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas is expected to name a full strength squad to take on The Stutes. Peter Brezovan will likely be back on the bench after recovering from a knock. Craig Easton could be set to start alongside Lee Peacock in midfield after Michael Pook left Saturday’s match early.

Well this game is going to be a tough one. I would think the match will be pretty evenly matched however as the game goes on Swindon’s fitness should shine through. We are going to say a 4-2 Swindon win but our winning goals will come late.
