Swindon Town manager Dennis Wise has confirmed he has spoken to good friend Paul Ince about joining Swindon Town.
Ince a former England International with Wise has been offered a coaching role at the club. Ince announced this week he will leave Wolverhampton to pursue his coaching career.
Ince himself has admitted he would be willing to drop to League 2 to coach under Dennis Wise.
Wise confirmed the talks on the official website.
‘He is a good friend of mine and we have had a chat about the situation and it’s left with him now.’
‘I am sure there will be a few bigger clubs after him but it’s a little thought we have had and we will see what happens now.’ Wise said.

Is Wise going to play himself this season? Could be quite a battle next Saturday, Wise and Ince verses Tinkler and Sweeney, looking forward to it.
No my friend neither will be playing…hope its still a good game though. Very difficult to guess an outcome.
Isn’t Wise going to be a player manager then? Or is he injured? I’ve just read that Ince doesn’t consider himself to be fit so he’s ruled himself out for two weeks.
sorry was a bit misleading my reply – I thought you were talking about this Saturday only – Wisey says he will play when he is fit and only if really necessary – he’s concentrating he says on his manager role at the moment…. I think he may turn out for a reserve team friendly with a local side this week.
