After suffering a knee injury, Captain Sean O’Hanlon is set to return to the team against Southend on Friday.

Sean O’, as he is effectionatly known as to the Swindon faithful said last night, ‘I went for a long run with (physio) Dick Mackey on Monday and then I trained today and there has been no reaction so far. I would like to think I’ll be back in contention for Friday night, although I haven’t trained for two weeks.’

With Charlie Comyn-Platt doing so well against Bournemouth, although he did concede a penalty, is it possible that manager Iffy Onuora will keep the same team against high flyers Southend hoping for a similar result, meaning O’Hanlon will have to wait another week for his return. Sean O’ stated ‘Obviously it means some players will be disappointed and think they should be in the team, but you have to accept the manager’s decision.’

O’Hanlon joined Swindon from Everton in 2003 and is normally the teams captain. Stefani Miglioranzi has taken the captains duties when O’Hanlon has been sidelined.
