The club have confirmed that chief scout Ken Ryder will leave his post at the end of the month.

Ryder’s exit is mainly due to cost cutting as Town prepare for life in League Two.

Chief Executive Nick Watkins told the Advertiser that ‘it has been necessary for the club to carry out a review of all cost structures and along with all other departments, scouting came under the spotlight with the role of Chief Scout becoming a victim of this’.

Meanwhile, fitness coach Dave Morrison has resigned from his post a year before his contract expire after the arrival of Claudio Donatelli.
