The Los Angeles Galaxy of Major League Soccer have signed former Swindon Town Midfielder Stefani Miglioranzi.

Miglioranzi appeared in 134 games for Swindon Town between 2002-2006 however spent a good portion of his time at the County Ground on the sidelines due to injury.

Galaxy Manager Frank Yallop had nothing but praise for Miglioranzi “Stefani is a strong player who adds depth and quality to our squad,”

“He is an experienced player who we hope will help us as we enter the stretch run of our season.”

Miglioranzi who spent time at Everton and Portsmouth before joining Swindon Town, returned home to the United States in the summer for his wedding despite attracting interest from several English clubs, Miglioranzi has decided to stay at home and forge a career in the fast expanding Major League Soccer.

    He was good in the early days – but was always injured so very unreliable – I wish him well over there.

    Migz done well when he was healthy however last season let himself down when his best mate Rory Fallon left. I dare say we haven’t missed him.
