Former Swindon Town favourite Martin Ling has parted company with Leyton Orient after over 5 years in charge. Like Colin Calderwood, Ling was linked to the Swindon job after the sacking of Maurice Malpas – like Calderwood he hasn’t lasted long since the appointment of Danny Wilson!
Martin Ling will be remain a long term a favourite with Orient and Swindon fans because of their promotion in 2006 which saw Oxford United return home to Non League.
Cheers Lingy, good luck wherever you end up next!

Good luck to him in any future employment.

Probably not, but sometimes a change of management does good, doesn’t it?
