Swindon Town boss Maurice Malpas has revealed that he will not be offering John Hills a contract at the County Ground after failing to impress during a trial.
Hills was on trial at the County Ground following his release from Championship side Blackpool however Malpas felt that Hills would not be an upgrade at the back.
Malpas stated that at the very best, Hills was as good as Jamie Vincent and therefore is not an improvement on anything he has at the County Ground at the moment.
